Mad Mel
Mel Gibson might need an intervention. If the tapes are indeed him, he sounds like he’s ready to explode. Mr. Gibson (1/3/56) is a Capricorn, with Cancer rising and a Libra Moon (chart below). His current transits show a man under extreme pressure, and it only gets worse at the end of July. Saturn is crossing his natal Moon while Uranus is opposing it. Pluto has been squaring his Moon for the last 2 years or so. It all reaches critical mass during the last 3 days of July and the first couple days of August, when transiting Mars will conjoin his Moon. For a person to become violent, it takes more than transits – they have to be predisposed, as indicated by the natal chart. Mel has a natal Mars / Pluto square. I’ve seen this aspect in the charts of violent abusive men, and in the charts of women who are often the victim of the same type of man. It describes a high energy person, who is often found in sports or dangerous occupations. They need a physical outlet for all that Mars / Pluto tension. Mel has done that through his movies. His Pluto occupies his natal third house, and if the tape is him, it sure fits. The voice reveals an intense anger and a powder keg of emotions. His ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva was born in 1970 and gave birth to a baby Scorpio last year. Oksana’s natal Saturn probably opposes Mel’s natal Mars and her Uranus is probably close to his Moon. I don’t know her birthdate, but this is obviously a difficult combination. If anyone knows her birth data, please let me know. On second thought…there’s was just a report of a UFO flying over China. That’s a lot more interesting.
Cardinals rule: King James & Lady GaGa
Unless you’ve been living in a nice cave, shielded from the media, you heard some mention of NBA star LeBron James (12/30/84) and pop star Lady GaGa (3/28/86) lately. King James as he is known, has a Capricorn Sun and Aries Moon. Folks, he’s not staying in Cleveland. Capricorn is the boss now. With his progressed Mercury (Cap) close to his natal Jupiter, his business empire could begin to eclipse his basketball success. You’d love SoBe LB.
Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, AKA Lady Gaga, has an Aries Sun and Scorpio Moon. Her driving force in the last 2 1/2 years has been transiting Pluto conjunct her natal Mars @ 0º Capricorn (with the help of her progressed Sun entering Taurus and forming a trine to her natal Mars). Her progressed Mercury is approaching a conjunction to her natal Sun over the next couple years. With that, and Uranus crossing her Sun until early 2014, we can expect her to continue morphing into something fresh and new.
AstroLogic – July 6, 2010
As I contemplate this week’s Venus / Neptune opposition (exact on 7/8/10 @ 7:55 PM ET-US) an email arrives. Oh, it’s from PayPal…better see what it is. At first glance it looks all official and everything. Then I notice the strange syntax, and the request for me to click on a link to “reset”‘ something. My suspicion was growing by the second. Yep, after moving the cursor over the link it reveals something other than PayPal. Phishing! OK, so I reported it to PayPal and got back to thinking about this particular transiting aspect. How perfect. An attempt at fraud under a Venus / Neptune opposition. This possibility applies to relationships as well as money. I wouldn’t sign on any dotted lines for the next few days (we’re between eclipses anyway). Careful with those all those perfect match.com connections this week – things aren’t always what they seem.
Lunar Eclipse – June 26, 2010
Crustaceans and Corporations
The much talked about lunar eclipse will occur Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 7:30 AM EDT. The chart above is for Washington, DC. Pluto, in Capricorn, is conjunct the Moon (chart ruler) in the 6th house (public health, civil servants, work conditions in mundane) opposing the Cancer Sun and Mercury in the 12th house (behind the scenes or covert activity, national secrets), in a T-square with Uranus and Jupiter in Aries in the 9th house (don’t the lawyers always come out on top?). This is a rare, pressure cooker of an eclipse, one that we’re already feeling. Of course there is more going on below the surface (no pun) and as usual, we’re not being told everything about the oil disaster…at least not by the mainstream media. This disaster will lead to a widespread public health crisis. The eclipse will be triggered around August 6th, when Mars, in Libra, will square the eclipse points (of course this is all part of the late July / early August cardinal climax scenario – which reaches a crescendo on 7/30-8/1.)

Gen. Stanley McChrystal
Isn’t it perfect? “Rolling Stone refers to him as “The Runaway General”. Sounds like the stuff of Uranus in Aries to me. I’ve spent the last half hour Googling his birthplace and came up empty. No surprise, since he’s a “black ops” guy. I’m guessing he was born in Germany at a US Army base. I have no evidence of this, but his father, Major General Herbert McChrystal Jr. served in Germany after WWII. Stanley was supposedly born Aug. 14, 1954 – somewhere. I’m taking this birthday with a grain of salt (although the Sun / Pluto conjunction does fit). For the chart below I used a hypothetical birthplace and natural houses. The man is said to get four hours of sleep, eats one meal, and jogs eight miles a day. So he’s slim, wired and into fitness…and allegedly not averse to a little torture now and then. Sounds like a Virgo I know. Anyway, I’m getting a Capricorn or Virgo vibe for his ascendant, with Mars angular and a very interesting 12th house. Wow, it just occurred to me, he looks like Ted Danson when he hasn’t had his fiber. Thank you for your service to our country Gen. McChrystal.
